My story begins with the teenage dream of homeschooling my future children.

That decision was repeatedly tested against motherhood, childcare and work responsibilities, abuse, school, single parenthood, WA registration, family opposition, government scrutiny, court conflict, homelessness, Tasmania travel, NSW registration, serious illness and finally the realities of sustaining family life through 2025.

My values are grounded in child wellbeing, character formation, and meaningful academic progress, balanced with long-term family goals and lifestyle design. I believe education should serve both the flourishing of the child and the coherence of family life. Family always comes first, and the rest can be simple, enjoyable, achievable and excellent.
